Here the beauticians speak English, the prices are reasonable, and the treatments are safe and effective.
Research Well
Hearing reviews from expats who’ve visited the salon is a must, as well as, thorough internet research into the treatments.
You want to avoid receiving unsafe treatments, poorly trained beauticians, and salons shutting down unannounced.
Paris’ Salon
So far I’ve visited two salons in Beijing.
The first salon closed down without notice causing myself, and many other expats, to loose sessions that we’d bought as part of package deals.
The second salon I visited was Paris’ salon. Paris came recommended by many expats, speaks good English, offers reasonable prices, and has well trained staff. You can find Paris on WeChat: parishy2012
There are several other salons in Beijing that expats use but I haven’t visited them yet. Once I have I’ll write a review.
Videos
Below you can see my recent trip to Paris’ salon where I had laser hair removal, a deep cleaning facial, and a deep hydrating facial.
