Quarantine in China & Teaching Online

Could you teach from home? During these trying times education institutions around the world must consider online learning.

For the past two weeks I’ve been teaching online in Beijing, China. At first, the idea of transferring an English speaking class, which is usually taught in a classroom setting, to an online learning platform, was daunting.

On top of learning to teach online, I’ve also been in quarantine since Saturday 1st March. I was hoping to be released this weekend, but it has been delayed until next week.

Luckily, I’ve got online teaching, dance parties, and online social activities to keep me busy. If you want to see what a typical day in quarantine looks like then check out my new vlog.
