Testing Food Delivery Apps In China

At lunch time on Chinese New Year’s Day (12th February) I realised I had no food in my apartment. Too lazy to venture out and uncertain of which shops would be open I turned to my phone. Luckily I had two food delivery apps installed on my phone. An English language one named Sherpa’s and a Chinese language one named Ele.me. Even more fortunately I had a 100RMB (£11) voucher for Sherpa’s which I’d won at a Christmas party.

Without a moment’s delay I opened Sherpa’s and began ordering from a local restaurant named Wagas. After receiving and consuming my lunch from Waga’s I then opened the Ele.me app. I wanted to compare Sherpa’s with Ele.me. Which was the cheapest? Which was the easiest to use? Watch my video below to see the answers to these questions, as well as, my delicious Wagas lunch!
